Since these pics were taken I've added a blueberry for the birds. :-D It's a wee little bush at the moment, but one day!!

xxooNestforawrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01875863243361512804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4472122465337373466.post-21026510975728347782011-08-06T16:37:05.042-07:002011-08-06T16:37:05.042-07:00Beautiful, beautiful!! I just love getting to peep in other people's gardens :) You've created quite a sanctuary of loveliness there in the big city, and I just love that you were able to turn over-priced landscaping into a healing community tended garden. Sounds (and looks) like you live in a wonderful space surrounded by beauty and good friends. Thanks for sharing!
DAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4472122465337373466.post-90381373698828968472011-07-06T18:25:11.310-07:002011-07-06T18:25:11.310-07:00Hi Elf! Thank you for welcoming me, with true British grace, to the blog party, late. :-) Try Haiku or Eden first. Danielle, I hope you enjoy the warmed milk addition to your kukicha ritual. Yes, simple tea really is the best thing.

Thanks again for the comments....I'm such a newbie blogger and it's felt like I am blogging to myself.Nestforawrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01875863243361512804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4472122465337373466.post-35270209012726926792011-03-14T13:42:26.464-07:002011-03-14T13:42:26.464-07:00I've never heard of Kukicha tea, what have I b...I've never heard of Kukicha tea, what have I been missing!! Perhaps it's not so popular in the UK, I'll try and pick some up soon though, it sounds divine.
I'm with you on the Avena though, I've just drunk a large mugful of the infusion and feel much saner as a result. I'm so sorry to hear about your neighbour, it sounds like a nightmare. You have my sympathies as there's nothing worse than being disturbed continually in your own home like that.

I'll add this post to the blog party list. I can most clearly picture the transformation of your son strapped in his car seat, sipping out of the thermos, and I know I've experienced similar transformations myself :) Simple tea really just is the best thing, isn't it!

XOXO DAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4472122465337373466.post-66910387633625558552011-01-07T04:53:47.104-08:002011-01-07T04:53:47.104-08:00Hi Carey, I hope you don't mind that I reply t...Hi Carey, I hope you don't mind that I reply to you here as I couldn't leave a comment on your other blog. That photo on my blogpost so happens does not belong to me, as I found it on my laptop at that point of time. I'm sorry for the inconvenience! :) That aside, I'll be waiting to see what your other blog is all about. Yours is the first comment ever on this blog and I didn't see it until just today. I hope you enjoyed your Hawthorne tea.:) It truly is a life-altering experience when a plant opens herself (or himself, depending on the plant) to you. Perhaps it is the other way around an we open ourselves to them.Nestforawrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01875863243361512804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4472122465337373466.post-85221441923402395112010-12-05T13:54:35.250-08:002010-12-05T13:54:35.250-08:00Carey,

You have such a way with words - I felt like I was venturing with you through the park, feeling the weight of the hawthorn berries in my own palm. What a beautiful image of you gazing up through her branches, feeling her protective spirit. It seems that you truly know hawthorn now - on a deep and profound level. Can't wait to go and brew myself a cup of hawthorn tea - a little inner strength sounds like just the thing :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
